Bio:Due to my size, I am considered a pony but I am a Yakima Mustang. I was born in Yakima, Washington on the Yakima Reservation. I came to Colorado by way of Texas where I was "rescued" from a rescue". I have been in Colorado since April and am now ready to find my forever home. I will admit when I got here these humans kept saying this one is a spit fire and she is going to be one of the last here, but boy did I prove them wrong. I am on e of the first three to be cleared for adoption! I can be caught, haltered, lead, lunged, I pick up my feet and do very well with me desensitization training. I have proven myself very smart and a quick learner, hence why I am on the the first three to be cleared! So what do you say, Do you have the heart for me?

Bio: This "Beauty" came to us from an owner surrender by an elderly woman who was physically not able to care for her any more. She is 100% sound, but not broke to ride. She can be a little timid at first, but once she gets to know you and trusts you she is your best friend. She requires a little more patience to be caught and haltered, but once that is done she will lead and load in to a trailer just fine. She will lounge in both directions. She did require to be sedated for the farrier, but we believe it was because she had just arrived to the rescue and was still pretty nervous about everything. We believe she can be broke and would make for an excellent trail or even working horse. She will need someone who is confident and advanced in their horsemanship skills. Is that you?
